What we collect

From business owners: your name, email, business name, phone number, service area, and the settings for your page. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

From your customers: whatever they enter in your request form, such as their name, contact info, address, job details, preferred dates, and photos.

Basic usage data, like page visits and which link someone came from, so we can show you Insights.

Technical data, like IP address, browser and device type, and error reports, which we use to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

To run your page, deliver requests and quotes, and send the emails you expect, like new request notifications and sign-in links.

To fix bugs and improve the product. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our support team may view your account, including your page and requests, when you ask for help or to investigate a problem. Each access is logged.

Your customers’ information

Requests belong to the business that received them. We process customer information on that business’s behalf, and only use it to deliver requests and quotes between the customer and that business.

Photos are re-encoded when they are uploaded, which removes hidden data such as the location where a photo was taken.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run bookaservice.app, like hosting, databases, email delivery, product analytics, error monitoring, and payment processing for Pro plans. They can only use the data to provide their service to us.

If the law requires it, we may share information with authorities.

If bookaservice.app is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner, who must continue to protect it under this policy.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in.

Business request pages count visits without cookies. On our own site and dashboard, a product analytics tool helps us understand how the product is used; it does not record sessions. We do not use ad trackers.

Your choices

You can edit your business info anytime in Settings. You can delete your account in Settings, which removes your page, requests, and quotes within 30 days.

Leads you delete are removed right away and permanently purged, with their photos, after 30 days.

You can also email us to request a copy of your information or ask us to correct or delete it. Customers who want their information removed can contact the business they sent it to, or email us.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will let you know if a breach affects you.

Children

bookaservice.app is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know by email or with a notice in the dashboard, and we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
