How this is calculated
- Your pay is hours times your pay per hour.
- Size and condition add their percentages to that pay, as extra time.
- Products, travel and any water and power charge are added as costs.
- The business margin is a share of the final price: 20% margin on $100 of costs is $125.
- The range is 15% either side, rounded to $5.
Based only on the numbers you enter.

Price your time first
Estimate the hours from arrival to cleanup and multiply by what you want to earn per hour. That’s your pay for the job, before anything else goes on top.
Let size and condition change the time
A 3-row SUV or a car full of pet hair takes longer than a clean sedan. Set your own percentage for each size and condition, so the price moves with the work.
Keep your margin separate from your pay
Your hourly pay is what you earn for your time. The business margin covers insurance, equipment, and profit for the business. If your hourly pay already includes those, set the margin to 0 so you don’t count them twice.
Questions
Does this use market rates?
No. Every number comes from you. The calculator only does the math, so the result reflects your own time, costs, and margin.
Why is the result a range?
Jobs rarely go exactly to plan. The range is 15% either side of the calculated price, so you have room for what you couldn’t see.
What’s the difference between my pay and the business margin?
Your pay is what you earn for your time. The margin is the share of the price the business keeps for insurance, equipment, and profit. If your hourly pay already covers those, set the margin to 0 so they aren’t counted twice.
Is anything I enter saved?
No. Your numbers stay in this page and are gone when you leave it.
